Ferrari introduced the Mondial in 1980 as the top model of their V-8 series. Replacing the relatively spartan 308 GT4, the Mondial leaned towards the luxurious Ferrari 400/12, with an added distinction of being the only 4-seat, mid-rear engine, convertible automobile ever manufactured in regular production. It featured more electronic accessories than any Ferrari before and was a showcase of new technology throughout its production. By 1986, displacement had grown to 3.2 litres, and the interior was far more sumptuous. Selling as-is at an attractive price offering much value add opportunity for its next owner.
