Chassis 01418 is a rare and desirable early production M-Series GT, 1 of approximately 500 produced. Completed by the factory on December 24, 1970 in Rosso Dino (Orange) with Black Connolly leather interior and delivered new on January, 1971 to the official dealer Yonge Steeles Motors Ltd. in Canada. Its first owner, a Mr. Fox of Northern California retained the car until 1975. Its next recorded owner was Robert Livingston McKeever of Brookeville, Maryland, the cars file retains a copy of the title issued in his name November of 1976. Mr. McKeever cared for the Dino for the majority of its life until 2014 when it was sold through DriverSource of Houston, TX to its next caretaker who has provided thorough care and servicing.

Interestingly, Dino's delivered to Canada prior to US spec federalization in 1972 were a unique 'Canadian Spec' where they were Euro cars tip to tail with the only change being a British market gauge cluster that gave speed in MPH and markings in English. Young Steeles Motors and Luigi Sports Cars in Montreal delivered L and M series Dino's with this spec in very limited numbers.

Today the Dino shows 26,852 miles which are believed original, and the overall condition is that of a well-preserved driver. The older paint shows age and light imperfections (pictured) while the interior displays its original dash with some of the “mouse fur” still intact and a nice patina of the upholstery and carpeting. The engine compartment and undercarriage have been nicely detailed and steam clean and show evidence of recent servicing. Power comes from its numbers matching engine which has 145-155 PSI compression throughout all cylinders and the original numbers matching gearbox received a major “engine out” servicing in 2015 including new syncros.

Included with this offering is a binder containing ownership history, which includes email correspondence with Mathias Bartz, a Marcel Missini history report, history compiled by The Dino Register, and various servicing invoices. Additionally, a tool rool, jack w/bag, wheel chalk and emergency equipment remain with the car.

The Ferrari Dino in GT/GTS form are one of the most sought-after vintage Ferraris in the market today and #01418 provides an exciting and great opportunity to buy an early production unique delivery spec GT.
