The W113 series continued Mercedes-Benz's tradition of the sporty open convertible, while considerably more refined and luxuriously equipped than its predecessors. Nimble and practical with delicate balanced styling, today its popularity as a very usable classic.

019833 displays correct Dark Olive (291) body paint, with matching Dark Olive Hardtop over Beige upholstery and woven carpeting. A dark brown soft top currently offers an additional motoring configuration, while originally delivered in Dark Green canvas.

The cabin features Becker Europa radio, optional rear window defrost on hardtop, and original woodwork. Bespoke Coco Mats protect the carpeting – front and rear. All gauges/instruments and electrical components remain in proper working order. Original top wrenches and case reside in the glove box. A hardtop stand, strap and cover accompany.

Upfront, the engine bay is fitted with its original firewall pad, along with many correct clamps, hardware, and finishes. A period alarm system remains in working order. A 2021 inspection and scheduled service ensures continued excellent drivability. Engine compression reads: 162, 169, 172, 170, 170, 180 psi. Additionally, (x5) new 2021 dated and highly authentic 185/R14 Michelin MXV 3/4” whitewall tires have been fitted.

The undercarriage reflects that of the topside, very solid and honestly presented with tidy upkeep and proper equipment. The luggage compartment contains correct grey rubber mats, spare tire and cover with corresponding jack, wheel chock, tire iron, tool kit and period first aid kit. A leather luggage strap mounts to the factory points, securing a period 4-piece set of luggage. A matching trunk Coco mat is also fitted.

Its modern drivability and unmatched performance would indulge any classic car enthusiast. Open air or comfortable coupe-esque touring, Mercedes-Benz's SL roadster have long been known to provide years of reliable motoring, and this late and fully equipped SL is just the candidate for enjoyment and collectability.
